The Chairmanship candidate of the All Progressives Congress (APC) for Yemoji Local Council Development Area in the Ogun East Senatorial District in the October 8 Ogun State Local Government election, Prince Dapo Adebajo, has assured the loving people of the Gateway State that with Governor Ibikunle Amosun’s even-spread of socio-economic infrastructure across the state, both the existing 20 Local Government Council Areas and the new 37 Local Council Development Areas will grow to be models for other states of the federation.
Hon. Adebajo, who made this remark yesterday during the last phase of his campaign tour of Yemoji LCDA, said a lot of researches have been conducted on ways to move the Local Government/CCDAs forward, noting that with the nature’s gifts in the various LG/LCDAs in the state, all the helmsmen needed was the proper harnessing of the resources in order to turn them into fortunes.
The APC Chieftain noted that with the collective effort of the people, the attainment of an articulate economic system and optimum use of the human and material resources in building a virile economy in the LG/LCDAs were achievable.
Adebajo further pointed out that Governor Ibikunle Amosun and other APC Chieftains in the state were leaders of proven integrity, track record and broad experience in their respective fields of endeavours, assuring that the Amosun government was set to provide leadership worthy of emulation, ensure high morale among the citizenry and maintain the good image of the state at all times.
He, however, expressed hope that the Amosun administration would do the state proud by bringing about the much expected accelerated development in the development of Agriculture, Education, Environment, Transportation, Road construction, Health care delivery and other social services.
The APC Chieftain implored the people to show concern towards the search for a sustainable growth in the state’s economy and support all Government’s efforts aimed at making life more meaningful to people in the Gateway State.
Speaking on the 5- year administration of the APC government in Ogun State, Hon. Adebajo pointed out that the Amosun government had not only done well, but had equally touched the common man on the street, adding that with infrastructural development spread across the state’s 20 Local Government Councils, the APC would continue to perform to the people’s delight.
He further noted that the people of Ogun State had so far enjoyed the best of social amenities under Governor Ibikunle Amosun due to his determination to personally address the issue with all available human and material resources at his disposal.
The APC Chieftain, however, used the opportunity to express his appreciation to the peace-loving people of the State for their supports and loyalty to the APC government in the State, promising that the newly created LCDAs and the existing LGAs would not only bring government closer to the people, but would also ensure more infrastructural development at the grassroot levels.
Speaking on his qualities for the chairmanship seat, Adebajo explained that as a result of his knowledge of his people and their basic requirements as a people, he had the capacity to move along with them and was adequately prepared to join other people of like minds to implement programmes that would address their socio-economic problems and the need to keep Nigeria one based on equity, justice and fair play.
