Re: Group Accuses Yayi Of Personalizing Government- Funded Projects

First Bank Nigeria

Our attention has been drawn to a statement issued by a group of people who have constituted themselves as enemies of progress in Ogun West Senatorial District called “YEWA/ AWORI YOUTH NETWORK,” accusing the Distinguished Senator representing Ogun West Senatorial District at the National Assembly, Senator Solomon Olamilekan Adeola (Yayi), of allegedly personalising projects funded by the government.

We, the Ogun West Frontiers, a pressure group working for the actualisation of Ogun West for Governor in 2027, could have ignored the statement issued by the faceless group. But due to the fact that as at today, Senator Solomon Olamilekan Adeola (Yayi) has empowered over 50,000 people in Ogun West Senatorial District in terms of scholarship, students bursary, training of farmers and artisans and at the end of the day, Senator Yayi provided them with tools and take-off grants.

It is a pity that the group is working for disgruntled elements in Ogun West who are ready to destabilise Ogun West agenda for their self-interest. Let it be stated clearly that this time around, all their antics would not work as the people of Ogun West are totally committed to Yayi’s promise made promise kept approach.

It is very important to educate the group that all the projects going on across Ogun West were facilitated by the People’s Senator and the various signposts at those project sites clearly read “Facilitated by Senator Solomon Olamilekan Adeola.” What else do the enemies of progress want again?

We hope this is the right time to be on the same page with Yayi and make sure that all the contractors handling the projects delivered it at the appropriate time.
The group should note that we have voted for at least seven different Senators in Ogun West since 1999 and we have never had it so good.
Let us ask the faceless group whether people of Ogun West are now enjoying the dividend of democracy or not and let them come out and tell us the past Senator that have changed the faces of the masses
