Though the purpose of the meeting is still unclear, but sources say Saraki had gone to solicit for the support of the former president owing to the outcry generated by his party, the All Progressive Congress (APC) after his emergence as the senate president of the 8th National Assembly.
Meanwhile some political observers are suspecting that Dr Bukola Saraki may have move his support base to the Peolpes Democratic Party (PDP). “All the senators and the politicians with Saraki at Obasanjo residence are all decampees from the PDP. There is no original All Progressive congress (APC) members with him,” the source said.
