of the on-going road projects might have to be abandoned because there is no money to complete them. His words: “I don’t know where we are going to get the money to do the Ilaro road. I’ll need between N20b and N30 billion to that road alone, and I don’t know where I am going to get that”. He however disclosed further that he has since learnt
that governance is not easy, while soliciting the support of
journalists for his administration. He said the major challenge of his
government right now is how to complete all the roads he has embarked upon so that they don’t become abandon projects. He however admonished journalists to be wary of listening to all the negative stories flying around about his administration, as according to him, they are from
his detractors who would want to play politics with everything. His
words: “we are all politicians, and we know how we play this game;
many of you (journalists) supported us and practically assisted us in writing most of the lies with which we pulled down the last administration. So, as they are coming to you, do not believe in
everything they bring to you. We have done that before and we are selling lies to the people.
