Veteran actor in the Yoruba movie genre, Pa Charles Olumo who is widely known and addressed by his numerous fans as “Agbako” last Friday 7th August, 2015 was involved in an auto crash.
According to our source, the veteran actor had wanted to drop off two women who had met in his house at Onibuku area of Ado-Odo/Ota local government of Ogun State.
“One of the women is Agbako’s mistress while the other one is one of his wives. Agbako had been in the house with the mistress for some hours, later, the wife came around and met the woman in the house. I think an argument ensued among them and Agbako decided to go and drop off the mistress, but the wife insisted she will enter the car too.” The source told yemojanewsng.com.
We gathered that as both women entered the car, a Honda Ala, the actor who is planing his 90th birthday in style got confused as he didn’t know how to handle the situation, “he started the engine of the car to drive out of his house and within a twinkle of an eye, Agbako had rammed the car into a shop adjacent his compound”. The source added.
We learnt neighbours quickly came to the rescue of the trio. Although, no life was lost in the crash, but the veteran actor’s mistress sustained a slight injury in her hand while the wife received injury on her forehead.
The veteran actor reportedly lost consciousness as a result of shock and was immediately rushed to a nearby hospital where he later regained consciousness. We learnt Agbako had been discharged from the hospital.
