It was an atmosphere of jollity and reunion for top members of  the government of former governor of Ogun State, Otunba Gbenga Daniel, when former Commissioner for Sport in the State, Bukola Olopade invited friend and family members and colleagues for the dedication of his newly born baby girl.

After the church service at Redeem Christian Church of God, guests were led to the venue of the reception in Magodo (GRA) where drinks and food were in abundance.

Former speaker of the Ogun State House of Assembly, Mrs Titi Oseni who looked radiant and beautiful was among the first callers at the reception and was ushered to a seat by the celebrant, Bukola Olopade and his wife, Yetunde in the front row.

As more guest trooped into the venue, it became obvious that the event was for top People Democratic Party (PDP) stalwarts in Ogun State to relax and enjoy.

However when chief Kola Onadipe, a former Commissioner for Special Duties in Ogun State who is regarded as the ‘personal person’ of Otunba Gbenga Daniel arrived, almost all the guests stood up to welcome him.

As Onadipe exchange pleasantries it was observed that Titi Oseni stayed glued on her chair, deliberately ignoring him.

A guest who draw to the unfolding drama noted that the two politician could be holding grudges against each other over several issues, including the defeat of their party in the April governorship election.

It was however obvious that something was amiss between the two top Ogun politicians, as they avoided each other throughout the event.

Top politicians at the dedication reception were the Ogun State PDP governorship flag bearer in the April general election, Gboyega Nasiru Isiaka, Aare Lakan Alabi, Hon. Tunji Akinosi, Mr Ola Kukoyi, Mr Bukola Banjoko, Mr Segun Sowunmi    among others.

The event which started at about 1:pm ended at about 7pm as guests confessed they were treated to the best of everything by Bukola Olopade and his wife, Yetunde.
