Executive governor of Lagos state, Mr Akinwunmi Ambode who was on 29th of May  2015 charged with the responsibility of steering the ship of Lagos  state for the next four years is said to be in the dark in respect of people to work with in running the affairs of the state as he is yet to receive the list of commissioners from his godfather and the national leader of the All Progressive Congress (APC), Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu.
This development has been giving governor Akinwunmi Ambode sleepless nights as a result of the fact that his office is also being bombarded with hundreds of curriculum vitae of prospective commissioners from various political bigwigs and technocrats across Lagos state.

But’s investigations reveal that Gov. Ambode knows clearly that he will have no say or input in the appointments of commissioners in Lagos State. A source told that Ambode may not even know who and who will be his Special Advisers or Assistants as the lists will be drawn for him by Asiwaju Tinubu.

A source in the Bourdillon, Ikoyi residence of the APC national leader informed us that, in fact, Asiwaju Tinubu has received over 2,000 applications from various quarters to be considered for commissionership slots in Lagos state.

“I’m aware that Asiwaju has over 2,000 C.Vs of politicians and technocrats who are putting pressures on him. But he does not have time for that now. Asiwaju is engrossed in finding solutions to the leadership crisis in the National Assembly. But I can tell you that as soon as that one  is resolved, he will release the lists of who will become commissioners in Governor Ambode’s government. Those who are sending CVs to Ambode are just wasting their times because Amode may not even get a slot,” The source said.
Meanwhile, we learnt there are just about 20 Commissionership slots which Asiwaju Tinubu is expected to fill from the over 2000 applications on his desk.
