Osifeso Receives Awori Anglican Diocese Award

The Aare Atunluse of Aworiland and the Chairman of Mapcotec Nigeria Limited, Aare (Surveyor) Dr. Segun Osifeso, was among guests honoured recently at the 2019 Cathedral Day of The Cathedral of St. James, Ota, Ogun State.

While conferring Aare Osifeso with the honour, the Bishop of the Diocese, Rt. Revd. (Dr.) Johnson Akin Atere described the awardee as a man of rare character who has contributed immensely to the growth and development of Christianity in Ota in particular and Nigeria in general.

The Bishop noted that the Church had considered Aare Osifeso worthy of the ‘Award of Christian Service’ honour after due consideration of his sterling qualities of steadfastness, honesty, exemplary leadership and proven integrity.

He further described the honouree as a man whose track records in all facets of life remained unbeatable and, therefore, charged him to endeavour to continue carrying out the purpose and will of God for his life.

While rejoicing with Aare Atunluse on the award, the cleric urged him to uphold his position in the society as a diplomat of moral courage and rectitude whose passion and dedication to the advancement of the society was unparalleled.

In his acceptance speech, Aare Osifeso expressed his heartfelt appreciation to the Diocese for the honour, stressing that in as much as it was in recognition of his outstanding achievements in Christian service and life, he considered it a challenge for him to continue to do more.
