In a video which he later shared on Twitter, the midfielder is seen walking onto the pitch after the game with fiancée Chiugo before the stadium’s light is dimmed and a short video streamed on the public display of the player on his knees with the words “Will you marry me?” writ large.
When the lights return, Ogu is on his knees ring in hand as the surprised but happy Chiugo hugs him in acceptance.
