Man Of The People: Why Ibarapa People Want Otunba Ojo Ademola Obafemi In House Of Reps In 2023!
Otunba Ojo Ademola Obafemi is a politician with love for the masses, no wonder he is planning to move to the Federal House of Representatives from Ibarapa Central/North Federal Constituency in Oyo State in 2023 under the All Progressives Congress (APC).
The experienced politician is a long-standing and tested democrat, politician and administrator, who has promised to bring his experiences to bear once he is given the opportunity to represent his people at the green chamber.
The graduate of Geography from the University of Ibadan is the Chairman of Ex-Local Government Chairmen of Nigeria (ASELGON), South West Nigeria and the Public Relations Officer of ASELGON.
Obafemi was the Director General of Akala/Arapaja 2011 Campaign Organisation in Oyo State and the State Co-ordinator of the PDP Goodluck/Sambo 2011 Presidential Campaign Organisation, Oyo State.
He is the Chairman of Association of Local Government of Nigeria, ALGON, Oyo State chapter.
He was also the Caretaker Secretary of the PDP in Osun State, while Chief Tunji Sarafa Ishola, the current Nigeria’s Ambassador to the UK served as Chairman.
The committed politician was the Executive Chairman of Ibarapa Central Local Government, Igboora, Oyo State and Auditor of ALGON, Oyo State.
As a corporate man, he is the Chief Executive Officer of Guaranty Chauffers and Security Limited and CEO of Heritage Resorts Gardens Nigeria Limited.
Otunba Obafemi is the Otunba Bobakeye of Iseyinland, Akogun of Ijioland and Okanlomo of Idereland as well as the Baba Egbe Atoriae of Oyo State.
Obafemi said in a recent interview that “my love for the people knows no bounds, which is why I want to move to the Federal House of Representatives in 2023 to serve them.
“My records as a local chairman are there for everybody to see and I promise to do more, once I am given the opportunity to serve,” adding that his constituency and constituents deserve more than what they are getting at the moment.
Indeed the generality of the people of Ibarapa Central/North Federal Constituency in Oyo State are clamouring for a better representative in 2023, which is why they have thrown their weight behind Otunba Ojo Ademola Obafemi.
