Residents of Agbado under Ifo Local Government area of Ogun State were full of appreciation to the Chief Executive Officer of House Oduduwa Foundation, Prince Babajide Fadairo as he commissioned a water borehole project in Agbado Market for the use of the market wowen and men as well as the residents of the community.
Fadairo, an aspirant to the Federal House of Representatives in Ifo/Ewekoro Constituency in the 2023 general elections in Ogun State, was represented at the commissioning by his wife, Princess Folashade Ogunwusi Fadairo (eldest sister of His Imperial Majesty, Ooni of Ife, Enitan Adeyeye Enitan Ogunwusi, Ojaja 11).
The event held on Sunday 22nd of May, and His Imperial Majesty, Ooni Adeyeye Enitan Ogunwusi Ojaja II, the Ooni of Ife led the commissioning of the pipe borne clean water borehole project as part of the humanitarian projects of the foundation headed by Prince Jide Fadairo through his representative, Oba Adekunle Adebowale, the Agbolu of Agbaje Ife.
This is one of the few projects in the horizon in all the communities of Ifo/Ewekoro Federal Constituency.
Speaking through Oba Adebowale, Ooni Ogunwusi said that Ooni has sunk five different boreholes in Lagos State through the support of House of Oduduwa Foundation and Hopes Alive Initiative under Princess Temitope.
The Oba said that Ooni has been helping several people including orphans through visits to their homes and other less privileged people in the society.
“Ooni Ogunwusi is the father of all Yorubas and he is using his good office to reach out to a lot of people. He is not selfish and he does this everywhere.
“We just want the people in the market and others to make good use of the water project,” he said.
Princess Folashade Ogunwusi Fadairo said in her speech that the project was made possible by God Almighty and thanked the House of Oduduwa Foundation and Hopes Alive Initiative for their support.
“Ooni of Ife has been helping people and he will continue to do this for the masses.
“May God continue to help all of you in Alagbado and we will do to others as we have done here.
“My husband, Prince Babajide Fadairo sends his greetings, and he is seeking your support for his ambition to go to the Federal House of Representatives in 2023 under the All Progressives Congress (APC),” she said.
House of Oduduwa plans to touch all other communities in Ifo and Ewekoro Local governments areas in the coming weeks.
