Femi Fani-Kayode, former culture, and later, aviation minister has fathered a son at fifty-five years.
Fani-Kayode announced his baby’s arrival on Facebook; “I give thanks to God for the birth of my first son which took place at 12.14 pm today. This is the doing of the Lord and it is marvellous in our sight. Both the mother and the child are doing fine”, Fani-Kayode stated.
The Peoples Democratic Party, PDP chieftain, however, did not disclose the baby’s mother’s identity. He is not known to have taken a wife in recent times, after his three failed marriages.
Curious watchers have suggested Fani-Kayode’s baby mama might be D-list actress and model, Precious Chikwendu, nicknamed “Sow White”. Chikwendu, a former Miss Valentine and 2014 Miss United Nations World, was sighted with Fani-Kayode in court on the day he was acquitted of money laundering and stealing charges. The court experience saw Femi Fani-Kayode changing his name to Olufemi Olukayode.
British educated and high-heeled, Femi Fani-Kayode has been linked to various women and, once, was alleged to have impregnated a maid of a former director-general of the News Agency of Nigeria, NAN, who took him into his home for a period.
Other women he was married to are Saratu “Baby” Atta in 1987, who bore him a daughter, Oluwafolake; Yemisi Olasunbo Adeniji, in 1991, who bore him three daughters, namely Oluwatemitope, Oluwatobiloba and Oluwatuminu. The third marriage was to Regina Patience Amonoo, who had a daughter with him named Oluwaremilekun.
