Members of the Eleniyancares Foundation E-YES Class of 2016 participated at the Committee of Wives of Lagos State Officials (COWLSO)’s 16th National Women Conference held at the prestigious Eko Hotel from 24th to 26th October 2016.
The 20 young ladies who participated at the annual event were specially invited by COWLSO Chairperson and Wife of Lagos State Governor, Mrs. Bolanle Ambode following their successful participation at the E-YES empowerment summit held on the 16th July this year in Epe. The objective of that invitation was to expose the young ladies to leadership programme that can impact on their growth as individuals and group.
In furtherance of our commitment to empowering young people, our foundation will continue to project them for opportunities to develop impressive personalities and character by associating with role models and building network with influential people in the society. COWLSO is the largest gathering of women in government in Lagos State and being at such occasion to understudy leadership, governance and performance is a rare opportunity in the society.
We will continue to open more space for young dynamic people who have continued to follow up with us, knowing well that youths need to keep unlocking their potentials by opening their minds to areas of opportunities via participation and commitment to the foundation’s programmes.
