Lagos state governorship hopeful under the All progressive party (APC) Mr.Akinwunmi Ambode campaign train storms Apapa to a rousing welcome from party faithfuls and admirers.The campaign train was led by governor Babatunde Raji Fashola,executive governor of Lagos state.
Governor Fashola presented whom will be his successor in person of Akinwumi Ambode to the delight of the mammoth crowd,the shout of Ambooo rents the air, describing him as tested and trusted hand who had equally worked with him for six years.Fashola urges the mammoth crowd that troop out to welcome the campaign train to vote massively for Amode and APC.He futher says that Ambode is a brilliant and sound mind person together with his youthfulness ,sure that Lagos will be taken to the greater level.Fashola says,experience is better than experiment,Ambode is the man that can do it,urges Lagosians of voting age to go and collect their permanent voting card (PVC) and vote wisely for Akinwunmi Ambode and All progressive party (APC)candidates in the coming election.
In his speech Ambode thanked people for their overwhelming support and promised to start from where governor Fashola might have stopped.He says that his experience in government as former accountant general of the state has prepared him for the Lagos top job and promised not to let the Lagosians down.He says,I will build on existing feast and even do more .Chief Henry Ajomale,Chairman All progressive party,Lagos chapter in his address says that Lagos has been lucky to have young and brilliant people at the helm of affair and praise the intellectual capacity of National leader of the party Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu for produced Fashola which did not disappoint and now Akin Ambode,whom he described as educated,experienced and youngman with a lot of energy and seal to consolidate on the present achievements of Governor Fashola.
Among dignitaries that present were gov.Fashola,Chief Henry Ajomale,Akinwunmi Ambode,his wife and his deputy,Dr.Oluranti Adebule,special adviser to the governor on rural development,Mr.Paul Kalejaye among others.
