Wife of the President, Her excellency, Mrs Aisha Buhari and Chairman of Noor Dubai foundation, His Excellency Humaid Al Qutami have reached an agreement to renovate and develop three main eye centres in Nigeria
Noor Dubai foundation also announced the launch of a four year treatment and prevention plan for eye disease in Nigeria. As part of the programme, more than 18,000 eye surgeries will take place and more than 70,000 people suspected of suffering from eye disease will be screened, a further 4,000 people who suffer from visual impairment will be educated and screened
The programme will also raise awareness about visual diseases and prevention to more than 1.5 million Nigerians.
