Breaking News !! “Leave Kasham Buruji’s home now” – Court orders NDLEA

kasham burujiThe Federal High Court sitting in Lagos has ordered the National Drug Law Enforcement Agency (NDLEA) to vacate the house of Ogun senator elect, Prince Kashamu Buruji with immediate effect.

The NDLEA had sought to obtain a court order for the extradition of Prince Buruji to the United State of America to face charges for drug related offences.

The operatives of the NDLEA on Saturday, 23rd of May laid siege to the Lekki, Lagos home of the politician in a bid to effect his arrest. But as the operatives could not produce a warrant of arrest from a known court, they cordoned off the house and placed him under house arrest. The NDLEA went to court yesterday possibly to make the arrest possible but the sitting judge, Justice Ibrahim Bubba adjourned the case till 12.00 noon Tuesday, 26th of May 2015(today)

Sources at the resumed court sitting today told yemojanesng.com that the judge ordered NDLEA to vacate Buruji’s house and further adjourned the case to next week, Friday, June 4th 2015
