An Avoidable crisis is currently brewing in Aso Rock, the nation’s seat of power, and the source of the palaver is the political scheming and ambition of the Women Leader of the All Progressive Congress (APC), Sharon Ikeazor which is likely to undermine the status of the Wife of the president, Hajia Aisha Buhari.
According to information gathered by yemojanewsng.com, Sharon Ikeazor has taken advantage of president Muhammad Buhari not to have a role for his wife, Hajia Aisha Buhari in this current dispensation.
We learnt Ikeazor, a skilled lawyer and management consultant has been able to penetrate President Buhari’s power circle to allow her perform most of the roles reserved for the wife of the president. This, we were told is not going down well with some friend of the wife of the president.
Our source revealed that at the last United Nation General Assembly 2015 First Ladies Summit, the APC Women Leader nearly scuttled Aisha Buhari’s outings as she wanted to be in charge of all the side meetings that had been put up for the wife of the president.
Though we learnt that the beautiful and very cerebral Anambra State born politician is very close to the President as she was the Women Leader of President Buhari’s defunct Congress for Progressive Change (CPC) political party before it dissolved with other parties to form the APC.
“Sharon Ikeazor has been with president Buhari since the days of CPC. She is one of the closest female politicians to the president. But she is getting more attention in the government because of her relationship with the current boss of the Nigeria Customs which many have described as ‘extra close’. Every body knows that the customs boss is PMB’s main man. Sharon gets her things done through the man”. A source informed us.
The source further revealed that Ikeazor’s ultimate agenda is to become the Minister of Women’s Affair in order to fully take over many duties assigned to the First lady’s office
“We don’t know if her name is already in the ministerial nominees list sent by president Buhari to the Senate or not, but I know she was organizing a party for herself, and she has told some of her friends to be addressing her as madam minister”, the source added.
Meanwhile, we were informed that in Sharon Ikeazor’s Anambra State, there are growing sentiments against her as she is being described as an opportunist who does not have enough clout among women in her State.
“Sharon is not know in her constituency, and some women are planning to protest if she is given the ministerial slot of women affairs,” another source volunteered.
A source in Aso Rock however revealed that Hajia Aisha Buhari is unperturbed by the antics of Sharon Ikeazor as she reportedly told some of her friends who showed concern that what is important to her is the success of her husband’s government, and not her own role in the administration, but we learnt the friends of the wife of the president have vowed to put Sharon Ikeazor where she belongs and not step her boundaries or encroach on the territories that does not belong to her.
