Popular Lagos big boy and super cop, Mr Taiwo Lakanu has been deployed to Ogun State as the new Commissioner of Police.
The very amiable and brilliant police officer who is a fellow of National Defence College was transferred to the Gateway State from Ekiti State yesterday, 4th February 2015. While in Ekiti, Lakanu was applauded severally for bringing the crime rate to the barest minimum.
Married to Omowunmi, the Managing Director of Lake Andrews Holdings, the new Ogun CP is from the Lakanu family of the Brazilian descent in Lagos State.
Taiwo Lakanu, a trained and cerebral lawyer was formerly the Principal Staff Officer to the former Inspector General of Police, Mr Tafa Balogun. He holds the enviable traditional title of Akogun of Lagos.
