Sir Kessington Adebutu and the Law of Karma

Recall with nostalgia the video recording of Sir Kessington Adebutu mocking the late Senator Buruji Kashamu on his sick (read dying) bed even as the late philanthropist begged him for forgiveness over the Ghana games rights and political differences with the former’s son, Mr. Ladi Adebutu.

Regrettably, Sir. Kessington Adebutu did not forgive the late Kashamu until he breathe his last in spite of the passionate plea of the dying man.

Before then, they had labelled Kashamu a fugitive who must be extradited to the US.

The late Kashamu is no more. He has gone the way of all mortals and free from all the pains, trials and anguish of this evil world.

Now, the table has turned. Ladi Adebutu is now on the run from the long arm of the law. So, who is now a fugitive?

Sir Kessington Adebutu himself is bedridden in UK. The patriarch of the Adebutu family must have lost nothing less than N15 billion to the ill-fated governorship ambition of his son. On a fateful day, he moved N9billion into Ladi Adebutu’s account.

You may wish to call it “The last misadventure of LADO”. It was from the account that Ladi Adebutu took N2billion that he preloaded on Verve ATM cards for vote-buying.

Now father and son are abroad; one is sick and the other is running away from the law.

Karma: truly what goes round comes around.
