“I Preferred Standing Inside Molue Buses So I Can Pay Less Bus Fare 31 Years Ago In Lagos!” – Bishop Tom Sampson Reveals
Effervescent Man of God and General Overseer of the ROYAL CHRISTIAN FAMILY CHURCH WORLDWIDE, Bishop Tom Samson, told tales of toil in his early days in Lagos.
He narrated his Lagos story with relish before a mammoth crowd as he recieved the STAR OF FAME PLAQUE of The Great Lagosians Hall of Fame yesterday in Ikeja.
“At first i didnt even have money for accommodation in lagos. When i scooped up some cash i was only able to rent a room in Egbeda a lagos surburb”
That was how it all started, facing the Lagos hustle he jumped from one molue bus to another standing so that he can pay less.
He was later to crawl out of relative obscurity in the meagre accomodation in Egbeda to the centerpoint of refference when he started a programme at the petite Olokun Hall of Airport Hotel Ikeja
The rest is history as he has now spread the tentacles all over the universe.
Bishop Tom Samson now controls a massive Church Ministry having A University, Polytechnic, Primary and Secondary School, Hospitals and imposing Church Edifices
He also has in his kitty, a fleet of exotic cars like BENTLEY, ROLLS ROYCE, HUMMER LIMOUSINE, SEVERAL SUVS etc.
Bishop Tom Samson brought a lot of Glitz, Glamour, Savoir Fair and Panache into evangelism and it is paying off.
