Chairman, House of Representatives’ Committee on Rural Development, Hon. Oladipupo Adebutu has felicitated with all muslim faithfuls on the successful completion of Ramadan fast.
In a release obtained from his media office today, Hon. Adebutu said he was especially thankful to God that the muslim fasting period coincided with a time when questions on the peace and unity of the nation was at a worrying pitch saying he believed the effectual prayers offered during Ramadan went a long way in simmering down the tensions.
Hon. Oladipupo Adebutu further added: “While thanking God that our worst experiences in this nation are over, it is my fervent prayer that all ungodly acts that has been washed away in this month of Ramadan by Almighty Allah will never be revisited again”
Adebutu then reminded all Nigerians, particularly Ogun indigenes that the lessons of perseverance, humility, love, sharing and other virtues of godliness that this season affords must not be lost as better times is on the horizon for those who keep faith
