A man of shady character, Okey Ifejioku is planting a time bomb in the kingdom of Idumuje Ugboko, in Aniocha North local government of Delta state which may explode soon and consume the whole of Delta North.
According to information gathered by our various sources, Okey Ifejiouku who is a convicted criminal in the United State where he served a four years prison sentence for criminal activities and deported to Nigeria has now put his hands in matters that does not concern him in any way, thereby fuelling acrimony and possibly breach of peace in the kingdom of Idumuje Ugboko.
Source who know reveal that Okey, who has a record of being a cultist and major sponsor of kidnapping gang in Delta State is backing one Nonso Nwoko to be the next king of Idumuje Igboko after the mysterious death of the traditional ruler of the kingdom, Obi Albert Nwoko III, two months ago, against the wishes of family members, king makers and people of the kingdom.
We gathered that Okey’s motive for causing all his atrocities is his plan to be made the Iyase (Prime Minister) of Idumuje Ugboko if his candidate, Nonso is eventually installed as the king of the kingdom. But notable family members and indigenes of the kingdom have risen against him that on no account would Nonso or Okey achieve their aims as youths of the kingdom have vowed to make things unpleasant in the kingdom in order to stop the illegality.
A king maker who does not want his name in print told our reporter that, “We know Okey has been telling people to address him as the next Iyase, but he is living in a fool’s paradise. We have a tradition here, and anybody that want to be the next Iyase of this kingdom must come from Atuma village. He is from Ogbe-Ofu and should know he cannot be the Iyase. There is an Iyase in our community, we don’t know why he causing trouble for us here”. The kingmaker said.
Further checks revealed that Okey Isejioku who owns a ramshackle hotel and current Chairman of Hotel operators in Delta North is a product of an illicit affair by his mother and that is why he bears the name of his mother’s husband. His mother, Faith Ifejioku was alleged to be a self-confessed witch in the village and had to be ostracized from the community with her children after she confessed to killing her husband and many people in Ugboko village.
A notorious cross-border smuggler of cars and handler of stolen vehicle, we gathered that Okey Ifejioku, in other to achieve his aim of installing Nonso Nwoko has been arming some criminals in the community to cause mayhem and attack those opposing Nonso to emerge as the next Obi of Idumuje Ugboko.
Meanwhile security sources in Delta state confirmed that the DSS and the Inspector General of police office in Abuja are aware of Okey Ifejioku’s atrocities, branding him as security threat, and may be picked up any moment from now.
