Chike Okolo, a strategist and former Resource Specialist in Team Obama 2008 has called on the people of Delta North Senatorial zone to support the candidature of Prince Ned Nwoko for Senate, come 2019.

Okolo, who is also a management consultant and a former banker made the call recently at a gathering of some Anioma professionals in Ikeja, Lagos State.
He said among other things, that Nwoko’s victory will further strengthen the existing peace and unity among his people in Anioma.

According to him, the prince from the royal house in Idumuje Ugboko possesses all the attributes necessary for public service in today’s Nigeria. Nwoko, he contended, is not only sufficiently educated and exposed but also compassionate and astute enough to guarantee quality representation in the Red Chamber.

He warned that it will be tragic if the people of Delta North fail to send their very best to Abuja, given the need globally for competent and acceptable politicians.

“As we prepare for 2019, we must consistently plan for our best to represent us. The Prince of Anioma-Land is an experienced lawmaker who can deliver the goods. We all witnessed his courageous and robust representation from 1999-2003, so we must count ourselves lucky to still have him this time around.

“Secondly, the Prince represents equity and justice. I agree that our people are connected culturally and in many other respects too but we cannot discountenance the fact that major blocks like Ndokwa, Ika and Oshimili have all taken shots at the Senate except Aniocha, where Nwoko hails from.

“But I must state that Nwoko is not an emotional aspirant by any means. What I am only emphasizing is the added advantage he possesses as a contender from an area that is yet to produce a senator.

“All things considered, I believe any form of investment in a person like the Prince is bound to be beneficial to our people, not just because of his capacity but also due to the respect he commands. “

Okolo therefore called on the people to rally round Nwoko as he prepares to take a seat in the Upper Chamber in 2019.
